About

Many have tried to replicate the GB experience, but we continue to lead the pack. The original? Yes. The best? Absolutely.

When chef Teage Ezard translated his love for south-east Asian street food into an Australian dining experience, he kick-started a phenomenon. Since Gingerboy burst into the hearts of Melbourne’s foodie crowd in 2006, we’ve kept the city salivating by constantly honing our ideas and plating up the newest cult dishes. We smash together the fine dining skills of our older sister, Ezard, with the most adventurous Asian street food, a rakish fitout by Elenberg Fraser and the raucous vibe of hawker-lined laneways.
